Episcopal High School, founded in 1839, is a co-ed college preparatory school located in Alexandria, Va. The 130-acre campus is located in close proximity to Washington, DC. The school is accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and the SACS. The student body is composed of 435 students (100% boarding) in grades 9-12 and represents 29 states and 19 countries.  The student-teacher ratio is 5-to-1 and the average class size is 11 students. Episcopal offers 45 advanced, college-level, and honors courses.
