Historic SITES TRIP - 5 DAYS

The mid-Atlantic region is known for its rich history that includes the establishment of the colonies, the founding of the country, and the heart of the Civil War. Brush up on your American history by extending your trip to include some of the most important historical sites in the nation. Below you will find a route that allows you to see all five Mid-Atlantic Boarding School Group as well as a several American landmarks in just 5 days. We suggest you start your journey at either Mercersburg Academy or Blair Academy and then work your way across the region. This route also works in reverse. If you are flying, consider using Dulles (IAD) and Newark (EWR) airports to travel to/from Mercersburg or Blair respectively.
